Whether you’re a fan of team USA or a coach of your Sunday league club, you can use this test to rate your team’s performance. The numbers don't lie.

DEFENDING

How many clear cut chances did the team concede? Did players make errors, if so, did they next player offer cover, or did the system break down with a clear chance on goal?

2-5 – B
6-10 – C
11-14 – D
15 or more - F

Shots conceded
Less than 5 – A
6-10 – B
11-15 – C
15-20 – D
20 or more - F

POSSESSION
By percentage, did your team control, hold, or chase the ball? (You can use a stop-watch to count the time, then divide by total game time).
55% or more – A
50 – 55% – B
45 – 50% - C
40 – 45% - D
- 40% - F

FINISHING
Only in football can you get 95% of possession and lose. Finishing is crucial.
